I am nerdier than 20% of all people. Are you nerdier? Click here to find out!

Ahaha. =P There should have been an option for "QYO" on the friday night question.

QYO actually turned out to be quite fun. We all went crazy organising the music into piles...=P (I forgot to clean mine. :fear:)

The party afterwards was good, too. I ate eight chicken wings, two pieces of cheesecake and an ice cream. @_@ (I was really, really hungry) We sat around to talked and they WAY people danced to Moscow. n__n

On retrospect I'm glad I didn't wear my skirt - because Sophie was wearing the exact same one. =P (and we all know how embarassing THAT would have been =P) lol.

Basically, it was brilliant. I'm going away and I miss people already. =( This term's been so terrible, it's nice to actually be able to do things with friends without massive dramas etc etc.

Mwahaha, you get two posts tonight. *goes off to write the other one*

Mum's coming home with chicken!

But could I be bothered changing...? (I've never worn this skirt out before)

(ever @_@)

(especially about clothes)

I forgot to tape Stargate last night!

And it was Ripple Effect, too! =( =(

I can't believe it! I was going to put the timer on after my shower but I completely forgot!

Gah. *banghead*

I really wish I didn't have to go to QYO tonight. >< I'll only get to the last hour of Alex's party. How lame! I always have to miss everything because of QYO! And I feel SICK!

Omg. Chrestomanci is out. It's in the library, so it must be.

We just had fun, chasing a legless lizard out of the house so that Kitty didn't eat it. =P It had tiny little funny legs and it wriggled.

Today we had maths B! I can understand why Katja said it was brilliant...It wasn't, but it almost was. =P The knowledge section was certainly fantastic. I could do it all! I failed modelling and problemsolving again, though. There were four questions at the end and I couldn't solve any of them. I tried to apply what I knew...but nothing worked. ><

Next week we're going to Sydney!!! I'm so excited! It's been over a year since we went on holidays (...I miss England =( ) and I've never really been to Sydney. It's going to be brilliant. I love my family - they're the best travelling companions. (Except Erin when she gets bored...or Dad and Erin when they start arguing. :fear:) I seriously need something to do besides sitting and feeling miserable.

Ack...I said I could go to Alex's party but I actually can't. I've got QYO. >< I always forget about QYO.

That's it really.

I miss Katja. =(

It's International Talk Like a Pirate Day!

Actually, yesterday was international talk like a pirate day, but Dad was on the computer so I didn't get to post. @_@ And I was so looking forward to being ahead of the rest of the world! =(

You should have seen me studying today.

It was brilliant.

I think I only spent about two hours actually studying, because I manged to take a massive lunch break in the middle. Oh well. I have my ancient history essay test tomorrow, which is frightening, and then maths B on thursday, which I was always destined to fail.

So it's alright.

Oh, and Jeremy finished his comic. Remember how I mentioned having a bizarre dream about Katja and Jeremy's maths teacher buying Jam? And remember all those posts that I mentioned Mr Richardson AKA Mr Poncy in? Well, here he is - doing his famous cubic dance and immortalised forever. Oh yeah, and I'm in it too.

The Incredible Mr Poncy

I laughed so hard that I almost choked. n___n You'd know what I mean if you saw him in real life. *giggle*

I miss Katja! There's no one to poke! =(

(she's gone skiing)

Athenian history is odd. Really all they ever did was ostracise people. The ostracised Thermistocles for being anti-Spartan, then they ostracised Xenophon for being pro-Spartan! And they ostracised just about all of their Persian war heroes because they felt bad about not being quite as cool. O__o

I'm surprised that there was anyone LEFT in Athens by the time Pericles came along.

Well, at least they're not as retarded as the Spartans, so they must be ok.

The Spartans had severe paranoia issues.

In fact, they just had issues.

I think I like Peisistratus best. He was a nice tyrant. Pericles was a bit up-himself. Solon was pretty cool. But I personally despise Cleisthenes. Not for any particular reason, but possibly because it took me ages to figure out how to pronounce his name ><

There we go.

All you need to know about Greek history summed up in one LJ entry.

I'm certianly more accurate than Herodotus, anyway. =P

PS mmm, history jokes. :fear: (there was this one lesson where we all burst out laughing at something stupid that the Spartans did. It was quite scary @_@)

I finished Fire and Hemlock!

I'm now going to die, slowly and tragically with as much wailing as possible.
